Simone Lake, MTS, has over 20 years of ministry experience in various capacities and currently serves alongside her pastor husband as a ministry team. Her ministry focus is prayer, spiritual disciplines, apologetics and biblical application to life. Simone is an accomplished Bible teacher, speaker and chaplain for the North American Mission Board (NAMB).

Formally has served as the Bible Instructor, Public Relations Ambassador and Chaplain to CWV (Center for Women with Vision) at Phoenix Seminary.

YES! Faithful and consistent Biblical fasting results in the spiritual growth and fruitfulness of the “inward person.” Fasting assists by renewing the mind, building up the body, strengthening the inner person, sharpening the senses, depth in reflecting, peace and comfort. You will have a clear directive in decision making and holy alignment with the Father.
We will discuss how to:
•Discern between the Biblical view and world view of fasting
•Gain strength to resist strongholds and temptations
•Draw close to God, hearing His voice and direction
•Exercise alignment with God’s directives
•Humble yourself, die to self and submit to God’s plan
•Find strength to face difficult circumstances

Jesus, being God, made time to fast and seek His heavenly Father. How much more do we need to follow His example as His children?
